The rate of response from the handle were low and the responses were in a standard templated format
THE SOLUTION
We gave a personality to our twitter responses. We let the giant Aldabra tortoise engage with the travelers. These tortoises are native to the island nation
THE RESULTS
We increased the rate of responses from an average of 5 a month to 94 responses per month.!
From an average of 8 queries per month to approximately 33 queries; there was a substantial increase in the number of social media queries. In a span of six months, we managed to do 472 responses.
